Hands-on patient care, administering medication, liaising with patients' families, supervision of care assistants, etc.
- Observing and reporting on patients' condition
- providing nursing care, eg preparing for operation, caring for wounds and intravenous infusions
- Recording pulse and temperature
- Administering drugs and other medicines
- Assisting with tests and evaluations
- Providing support to patients and relatives.
Requirements
- RGN, RPN or RNID qualification
- Full Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland registration - ABA
- Up-to-date clinical skills
- Genuinely interested in working with the client group
- Knowledge of HIQA desirable
- Fluent English and permission to work in Ireland a must.
